Does an Employee of a 501c3 have a Booking Agent License ?

A-List Guest of the Editor was bothered by a station manager who wanted to represent him.

Talk about blindsiding a host!

The manager begged me to let her co-host my show with a friend of mine from a famous rock band.

She then monopolized the conversation, having played his song at her recent wedding.

She then made overtures to be his agent.

Talk about overstepping boundaries!   Ask someone for a guest to interview and then want to be involved financially with someone she had never met, someone she didn't even know personally before badgering me to allow her to co-host my show.

Co-host?  I was the invisible man on my own program that day.

So you either get paid to manage the station and handle another department of the 501c3, or you are a booking agent.

Hasn't anyone learned about CONFLICT OF INTEREST in public access after the Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. fiasco?
